As the White House announced plans this week to focus on Comprehensive Immigration Reform in 2010, the NYCLU and its allies met this week to prepare to respond to the same challenges. In a Summit this week at the NYCLU's Genesee Valley Chapter in Rochester, NY , staff from the Western Regional Office here in Buffalo, Rochester and the Central New York Chapter of the NYCLU met with regional advocacy leaders and organizations from across the area to develop responses toComprehensive Immigration Reform and to better focus on humane policies that underscore the importance of keeping families together and provide a path to legalization.
